Our First Week at the Pike Place Market

Thanks to Blue Rose Dairy who is sharing their farm table with us and doing a wonderful job promoting our candy, and the Pike Place Market for their flexibility in allowing us to share a table, we had a good first week at the Market.  We sold out of Fudge singles and will be making extra for this week.  Saturday was the best day by far for sales.  The best story, told so well to me by Rhonda, was of a woman who bit into her Stuffed Fig at the stand right after buying it and took such pleasure from the experience that it was a When Harry Met Sally moment.  We really wish we had a video of that to post.

Opening Day Coming Soon

We are getting close to our opening day!  One of the main steps we are waiting for is the WSDA (Washington State Department of Agriculture) inspection of our operation.  While we are waiting, we are working on our packaging and labeling.  If all goes well, we will be open in time to take orders for Christmas.  We can't wait to be able to tell you that our opening day has arrived!
